曹衛東認為，與美軍「伯克級」驅逐艦相比，「中華神盾」仍有一段落差。052D型驅逐艦的排水量，與美軍「伯克級」驅逐艦相比還有2000噸到3000噸的差距，裝載的飛彈數量也較少。
